![]() ![]() Rolling back this update is shooting yourself in the foot. (To me, the "interface" is what I see on-screen when running the game, but I suspect that's not what's meant here.)Ĭhef eredeti hozzászólása:Just a heads up. Perhaps a sentence could be added explaining what the "interface" is and how to tell if it's changed by an update. The end of the sticky refers to the "interface" which I suspect is the culprit here, but as someone who isn't familiar with the details of Steam's update mechanism or the on-disk game structure, I didn't understand that this might be the case. (This thread seemed like a good place to start because it was F4SE's start-up error message that first alerted me to the problem.) That update caught me by surprise and my game stopped working, but following the sticky's instructions (which are now a bit out-of-date btw) to the letter did not fix the problem, or help me understand what else I must do to recover, so I posted a note asking for additional help. In the spirit of improvement, I wonder respectfully if the (generally excellent) sticky post could be improved just a bit by adding a sentence or two about what to do if an update changes more than just the EXE like the 1.10.162 update did.
